Lettering in any sport got you a 'P' that you could apply to your Letter Jacket. By the 1980s when I attended, letter jackets had gone out of fashion and the more casual Varsity Club jacket was what the APHS athlete aspired to. Looking back now, the letter jacket is pretty cool. See for yourself. (There's that yellow trim again on the Varsity Club jacket too!)
